Yes, ISTR reports (here) of problems like this with
eCS Betas or RCs + some MB combinations. There were
different problems with the DOS or WinOS2 subsystems.
I don't know what may have been going on there, but
this is possibly among the new crop of issues I'll be
seeing whenever the next tower system gets built.
