Hi,
Just to add few comments to the other good info you have been given by the
others...

There's something wrong with what you are doing. DId these procedures
ever work? If so, how long have you using these procedures? What did you
change recently that might have caused the bustage?
If you are using CD-R media, there's no such thing as formatting. What
there is is finalizing, but that's done after the CD is written. Some
versions of RSJ call this sealing.

What erase command? There's nothing to erase with CD-R media.
>What am I doing wrong?
First you are not being the least bit clear about what is failing.
Pretend that you are trying fix this problem for someone else and provide
the same information that know you would ask for.
>Is BA2Kws an orphan?
It's been unsupported for something like 4 years. The developers have
been gone for at least a couple of years. Intradyn purchased the rights
to the software, but they are probably just using the code in their other
products.

You won't, unless you are looking for used copies.
