And even in text mode, you get attachments. Most virus infections
are spread by attachments and although os/2 is not subject to that,
if you forward something you can infect someone else with your text
mode email that has an infected attachment. That being said, I
don't run AV on os2 but the rest of my family uses Win and even
behind a firewall they are protected by the 2 major AV vendors.
It's not to difficult to determine suspicious attachments if you
pay attention.
