Just tried -- using either the firewall box's public
or private addresses -- and the answer is NO. Can't
seem to ping anything else, either. After trying
different settings in the TCP/IP notebook, and also
using the DSL router directly to bypass the firwewall
box entirely, I have now reverted the TCP/IP notebook
to exactly duplicate the way it is set on the desktop
system (working fine), but it is still No Dice. In
view of the canceled April Help Desk, and likelihood
of there not being one for May, what can I send you
that would help troubleshoot this ?
