Subject: SCOUG-Help: legacy program

Content Type: text/plain

I have been running my venerable HP flat bed scanner forever under Warp
4 using PMSANE version 0.52 (Beta). It works perfectly under Warp 4, but
when I try to run the program under eCS 2.0 Beta4, I get an error message:

sane_start: Invalid argument.

I tried running scanimage.exe from the command line, but I get the same
result:
f:\os2sane\scanimage.exe: sane_start: Invalid argument.

I tried reinstalling the program (Install.exe) under eCS, but that did
not change anything.

I checked all the path statements in config.sys, but there is no mention
of \os2sane in any of the path statements under Warp 4.

Could I be missing a .dll file or something like that? Any suggestions
would be appreciated. I would like to get all of my legacy programs
working under eCS before making the switch (I am still having trouble
with Seamonkey under Warp 4).

Sandy
