It is about 10 years old. It works great (when it works). I tried using
a version of Tame (104b), but it was hopelessly complicated and
confusing, at least for me. I may try using an earlier version.

Hi,

F:\os2sane\find-scanner.exe: found processor "HP C5110A 3638" at device

OK.

PM Sane version 0.52 (beta)

I was looking for your sane version. I didn't realize that pmsane
included a sane distro.

The included sane version is pretty old, but it might support some debug
options. Try setting

 set SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255
 set SANE_DEBUG_HP=255

then run

  scanimage -L

and see what happens.
