These are pkzip error codes. They are docuemented in zip.txt and
elsewhere. InfoZip generally uses the same error codes a pkzip.

I'd have to see specific examples. A directory listing showing the files
you are trying to process might be helpful. I zip up huge directory trees
regularly and don't see these errors. Of course, I do use unzip32.dll
which is by definition going to be less prone to pkzip and command lines
issues, either of which might be your problem. You still use the
brain-dead cmd.exe, IIRC.

Well, it should be obvious to you that a DOS app will never be able to
handle anything but 8.3 filenames. However, I think you have a rare typo
here. 2.50 is the OS/2 version.

Pkzip works fine with a proper archiver.bb2 setup. IAC, it would appear
that your application choices are non-optimal. Pkzip for OS/2 is antique.
InfoZip's zip.exe is current and maintained and just works better.

To me the answer is obvious. Edit archiver.bb2 to default to InfoZip and
it will just work.

If you really want to continue to use pkzip, you probably could adjust the
archiver.bb2 defintions to handle the issues you are having.
