I have not had that problem with XP.
I have a computer running eCS being used as a gateway to the internet (running
the Injoy firewall) and as a file and print server for my eCS laptop and my
wife's XP laptop. After the hassle of installing NETBOIS on the XP machine
everything has run smoothly.
