Sendmail is a bit anal. Try
sendmail -d -a sendmail.test -t listsns@roadrunner.com
-f "s-geo@usa.net"

This says you are not sufficiently creative.

I'm working on overcoming this cleanly, My current workaround is a hack.

Use the log until you convince sendmail to use the smtp mailer. Until
then you are wasting your time using iptrace. Rather than GIGO, you have
NIGO (i.e nothing in, nothing out).
