Now that I've seen this thread, I have to ask, do you want to increase the
font that that the reader sees in the received e-mail or the font size
that you see?

There will always be those that prefer text e-mail. I still happen to be
one of them. However, the vast majority of computer users probably don't
even know text e-mail exists, so they are unlikely to prefer text e-mail.
