Subject:	SCOUG-Help: How to un-tar and archive?

I have a tar archive that I can't figure out how to unravel. I have tried
several purported tar programs from Hobbes, such as star-1.5.73-os2.zip and
gtar258.zip. I have not been able to make either of them work! There are too
many options, and no examples.

Does anyone have a recommendation?
