Dunno, but I too will be interested in the answer.
Despite attempting to follow Ray's practice (IIRC) of
dropping *all* the DLLs there, I still haven't sorted
out whatever the problem is that caused the installed
SM 117 to be crippled, as described in my earlier
thread. (I did not get the crashes you did, Sandy,
but that SM was not really usable in this condition.)
I had to revert the desktop object to point back to SM
111 -- which I wisely never deleted -- and all
functionality returned to normal.
