I could swear I once read such an article -- almost
certainly for an R or an X series Thinkpad -- and if
it was not in vOICE, I can't imagine where it would
have been. I did not imagine this ! But I couldn't
find it in their index now either. If I come across a
bookmark for it (my normal practice would have been to
create a bookmark link for it), I will update you.

As I recall, the author went into this project with
some skepticism and some trepidation. And, as you
might expect, I believe he had mixed results: some
items worked, some he could not get to work.

This was a light, subnotebook model. Traditionally,
it was the premium, fully equipped T-series that IBM
had supported . . . but you could still get a majority
of things to work for you in the A series. My brother
has one of those light & small X series models, but he
is strictly a Windoze user.
