The driver is for your video card, not the monitor. SNAP just displays
the Mfr & model of the monitor. Depending on the chipset on your video
card, SNAP (or whatever device driver you are using) may or may not
support the 1600 x 1200 native resolution of the Dell 2000FP monitor.
I have a Dell 2407FPW with a native resolution of 1900 x 1200. I have
two systems connected via a KVM switch. On one system, with an ATI X600
PCIe video card, SNAP supports the full resolution. On the other system,
with an ATI X1650 AGP video card, I get only 1600 x 1200 because SNAP
does not support the chipset.
