I just was reminded of another possible solution for this problem. Use
Rich Walsh's fpos to delete the saved window positions of the Desktop
icons.
If a active, faulty position record is causing the drift, this will allow
youto force removal of the record. Cleanini works if the cause is an
obsolete record.
