I've paid for and downloaded eCS 2.0 rc4 and OpenOffice 2.4 Beta.
I started by burning an eCS install CD. The first time I tried it, I
got a Trap 000E in ACPI. Then I tried a custom installation and turned
off ACPI. That worked great until I was asked for my registration key.
I tried both of my eCS 1.2 diskettes (I bought two licenses thru SCOUG),
and they were refused as invalid. I can't find a key file anywhere on
my hard drives, and I thought I had kept everything together in a drawer
in my computer desk. The one thing I cannot check is my older computer,
because the monitor seems to be dead.
Did we get new keys with the 1.2 refresh?
Do I have to contact Mensys to resend my key file?
Colin
