Thanks for the links, Svobi. I'll look those up, and
hopefully they will reveal whether that program does
timed captures. Even if it does, though, one would
have to leave the computer ON . . . .

That is one of the reasons why I have so far opted for
a dedicated standalone appliance, rather than going
the HTPC route.
