Hi Harry,
I always feel compelled to try everything out. When I changed my
config.sys to match yours, I got the message:
linalloc failed, rc=32776
(trap info below).
I fixed the problem by changing /CACHE:2048 back to /CACHE:1024 in the
hpfs.ifs line. (The original value).
(I also changed my jfs.ifs cache value from 4096 to 12288 to match
yours, and that didn't seem to hurt anything.)
Curious.
