Wireless may just add another layer of issues that
would mainly serve to obfuscate what is most
immediately to be investigated . . . .
If I can *first* just reach the internet with that TP
running RC4, wired, I would THEN have an interest in
moving on to one of those wireless USB Nics. The one
I would have in mind is a no-name that is said to use
an Atheros chipset . . . and one of the GenMacs is for
Atheros. Or is that a combo that could not work
anyway, for other reasons ? (If so, no point
bothering to bring it along.)
