Thanks to all for your indulgence on the fill-in
topic.
FF is now reaching the internet from this laptop in
RC4, using my existing (fixed IP + firewall box)
setup. So, from my POV, this was a very helpful
session.
Next I will try to make use of Ray's prevailing
wisdom, re the (apparent) singed Chrome that is
mucking up any SM upgrade on the desktop system.
Will let you know what comes of that.
