Thanks for your response. Since the HP 2015dn has its own built-in network
print server, that simplifies things a bit. And, according to the HP
documentation I downloaded last night, the server has a web interface, so
there should be minimal setup/configuration issues.

I've done some investigation on my system, and I can't find anything that
looks like SLPR. My current printer objects think they are talking to HP4000
hardware (which is what I intend to drive the 2015dn as), so I followed your
instructions and I don't have an SLPR option for setting up a new port. I
presume I need to add a statement to my CONFIG.SYS, so if you can give me an
idea of what the statement should be -- and, incidentally, where to look for
the SLPR driver, I _should_ have what I need to make the conversion.
