IBM Releases Source Code for Jikes Compiler

IBM is making available the source code for its  
Jikes compiler, which helps developers to speedily  
create Java applications. Now, Jikes users can  
collaborate with IBM to improve the compiler.  
Jikes delivers superior Java byte-code compiler  
performance, while ensuring that applications run  
consistently across different computer systems.
