Except these are not program objects. These are data files. LOTS of
data files. I fixed half a gazillion HTML files so that they now open
Netscape when I double click on them. Before, the Java applet viewer
would launch. The applet viewer isn't very useful when I am working on
my Web pages.

I still have another half a gazillion GIF and JPG files with
associations that I don't like. When I double click on the file, the
OS/2 Image viewer launches. I want PMView to launch instead so I can
do simple image editing while working on the graphics for web pages.
The GIF and JPG files have both PMView and "Image Viewer" associated
with the file. But I want to change the default for double clicking.
To open PMView, I have to right click on the file, open the drop down
list from "Open As" menu, and then select PMView from the drop down
list.
