The loop is a bug which I don't have any specific solutions for. You
still have some sort of WPS corruption that's confusing FI. Tell it not
to restart the desktop. Just shutdown and reboot yourself.
BTW, you did reinstall FI after installing NS?
As a last resort there's the command line FI (see the readme).
