Yes and no. ISA has not a clue what a shared IRQ is. The master ( for
levels 8-15 the slave) PIC latch the interrupt when they see the leading
edge. The driver has to issue EOI's to the PIC(s) to allow interrupts to
resume for that level.

I'll have to look at some North? Bridge hardware to see how shared IRQ's
are handled.
