Subject: SCOUG-Programming: korn shell confession

I confess, I was the person who brought up korn shell
about a year ago.

Things may have changed, but judging from the notes
to the port I was using, shells, because of the
intricate interplay of multitasking, are some
of the trickier things to port from UNIX using EMX.

The guy who ported it to OS/2 (can't remember his name offhand)
did a good job from what I could tell, I normally used it for
my command line shell unless a particular program required
otherwise.

I can go into more detail if needed.

Regards,
Dallas E. Legan II / dallasii@kincyb.com / leganii@surfree.com
