Having spent the afternoon searching my cranium for the one remaining
neuron that still works, I think it's the old password that Sheridan
used to keep the schoolkids from playing with the machines. I've
emailed him to see if he remembers it. (It was the school's initials, I

What is lock.rc (\OS2\LOCK.RC)? Does it replace *only* the lockup
settings in os2.ini? It's a text file and looks like source code but I
don't recognize the language -- "BEGIN..END" reminds me of PL/I. ("Dear
Mr. Know-It-All, what are all those mostly-video .RC text files in my
\OS2\ directory?") [Lurkers: also see *.RC text files in
