The new Java 1.18 dated Sep 11 at
ftp://ftp.hursley.ibm.com/pub/java/fixes/os2/11/118/
has a runtime.exe which is 5 MB rather than the 7 MB of the Apr 21
release, and the samples.exe and toolkit.exe files are missing.
A 7-to-5 MB reduction is more than what I'd expect from a "code
cleanup". Anybody have any ideas on the size reduction?
And the missing samples.exe and toolkit.exe files - are they no longer
supported?
- Peter
