Peter,

At the February meeting, Lynn talked about insuring progam correctness
by having the system generate test data for the code. After the meeting
he posted a follow-up to the list about the logic programming portion of
his presentation. He had some trouble with his Trilogy demo of predicate
logic. His follow up described how the Trilogy Demo should work. He also
included peg_sol4.pli as another program example that generates its own
test data for verification.

I did the Python version as an exercise to get better acquainted with
the language. My main interest is getting to the point where I can make
use of Paul Dubois' fun codes from LLNL.

Maybe we can make use of the Python version for comparative language
analysis with the PL/1 version. After all, comparative linguistics was
something that Lynn hinted at that in some of his previous posts. I
could also do a Fortran version--Anyone else for C or Perl?
