I'm still in a quandry about how you slice and dice lists with   
Python or anything else.  Greg, if you have a more recent   
algorithm that you would like to use this Saturday, send it to   
me.  I will insure that it is on the machine for your use.    
Otherwise I will use the most recent copy you put out on this   
mailing list.  Maybe if the APL folks have come up with their   
version we can begin to look at how we might perform   
comparative linguistics.
