"Maybe we can make use of the Python version for
comparative language analysis with the PL/1 version. After
all, comparative linguistics was something that Lynn hinted at
that in some of his previous posts. I could also do a Fortran
version--Anyone else for C or Perl?"
I do believe that we could profit from some comparative
linguistics. I would certainly love to see a Fortran version. I
must have missed the part in Python on recursion. I certainly
don't remember it in Fortran. Maybe I just need to get
updated.
In fact, Greg, why don't you lead us through a description of
your Python source at this month's meeting. In the meantime I
will work on trying to resolve what I think of as list
processing and that which you use in Python. I still have to
figure out how you slice a list.
