Thanks, I ran the test and SysTempFileName works fine here on a VDISK
drive. Here are some results:

   [Test 1] P:\TMP74931
   [Test 2] P:\BLAIR456
   [Test 3] P:\9B4O5B6

Here is the code which created the above:

  say "[Test 1]" SysTempFileName("P:\TMP?????")
  say "[Test 2]" SysTempFileName("P:\BLAIR???")
  say "[Test 3]" SysTempFileName("P:\?B?O?B?")

I'm using:

  Warp 4
  Fixpak 10
  Classic Rexx

I can test some more if you want. Let me know.

Send me the statement which doesn't work if you want me to try it here.
