Precisely. The choice of language is almost moot in solving the
problem. The choice becomes an issue only when attempting a
cost-benefit analysis.

Ooh, a brewing argument! :))
English *is* the "best-fit" because we all know it. There are
occasional language black holes (try translating "cumbanchero" from
Spanish to English) but the fact that English contains a huge number of
foreign words should indicate that flexibility is a major concern.
English has flexibility.
