  FYI,  
 
  My monitor (KDS) occasionally goes nuts (every 4-6 months) with the sync or   
is unable to power on or off.  Removing the power for a few minutes and then   
plugging it back in fixes the problem.  I almost replaced the monitor before   
figuring out it was fixable.
