> Weasel ftp://eepjm.newcastle.edu.au/software/
Weasel looks good except it does not generate RFC compliant "receive" headers.
I have notified Peter Moylan. I have no idea when this will be fixed.

I think I will try this next.

I have two problems with this.
1. The list identifier can only be 8 bytes, "SCOUG-Programming:" is much
longer than 8 bytes.
2. The digest is tied to the archive time. This feature does not make sense to
me.
I have not notified Peter Moylan of these problems.
> Steward (included with InetMail but Steven said it's open source)
I could not find anything except the REXX code shipped with Inetmail (it is
very much tied up with Inetmail, I don't know how much work it would be to make
it more general purpose ). If someone knows where an open source version (and
general purpose not tied to a email program) is let me know. With the current
version we are using there is no confirmed subscription, a feature I think we
should have.
> is "majordomo" a different package from the above?
> Mailman (but I don't know if there's an OS/2 port)
I looked on Hobbes and downloaded the two mail list programs there. One is
tied to sendmail and has no confirmed subscription. The other is more general
purpose as it can work with any email program, it also does not have confirmed
subscription.
I could not find any other OS/2 mailing list servers. If someone knows of any
post the URL.
