That would work. Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Can I do this with Mesa 2? For example, suppose I have a report with
these columns:
Music I.D. OS/2 Topic Topic Host Start Time
========== ========== ========== ===========
7418 JFS A______ 11:18:47:02
8311 Hobbes J________ 11:23:10:11
etc.
*and* I want to put a Preface on the first page only, so the report
looks like this (view the following using a fixed-width font):
OS/2 Radio for Wednesday July 7 2004
Host: Webfoot The Duck
Time Period: 1100-1500
Special Guest: Ann Dowling
Sponsors: S_____, C_____, Pepsi
Hot Clock: C
Music I.D. OS/2 Topic Topic Host Start Time
========== ========== ========== ===========
7418 JFS A______ 11:18:47:02
8311 Hobbes J________ 11:23:10:11
etc.
but subsequent pages would not have the preface, they would just have
the column headings. Can Mesa 2 do this?
I tried about a year ago to get Mesa 2 to do formatting like the above
but couldn't figure it out. Should I move this question over to the
Mesa 2 mail list?

I missed that. So I would read my database, extract the desired data
into a CSV file, then run Mesa 2 using a report-specific workbook that
contains a Rexx script which reads the CSV file and prints the report
and then exits. Yes?
