Hmm.  
 
Lynn, in the spirit of "open source" et al I'd kind of like to let  
everybody see the source code *and* have a compiler tool so they can  
fiddle with it.  
 
Distributing the program's source but putting a pricey high-bar on the  
compiler seems as restrictive as handing out the compiler for free but  
not letting anybody see the program's source code.

The tools at thefreecountry.com (thanks again Steven) might help in such  
an endeavour.
