IAC, what I was referring to was the same contact list Greg mentioned.
When this change was implemented, I suggested that it really was not
worthwhile for all the reasons you mentioned.
FWIW, Mr KIA gets a lot of spam, so some sort of harvesting may have been
done at some point. It's also possible that some folks who boot both OS/2
and Windows got infected and their address books were harvested.
