Black different from pink?  It's just a color.  No.  It's a   
difference between a compiler (GCC) only and a development   
environment which includes a compiler (in fact two).  If black   
is the compiler and pink the IDE, I'll take pink thank you.  
 
Besides both are open source.  Greg plans on setting up a   
LINUX application and using both compilers to convert it to   
OS/2.  This should provide us with an introduction to both as   
well as initiate us into a basic tool of open source.  We need   
to understand the compilers so that we can make them do   
what we want in accordance with a founding principle of   
open source.
