Thank you for your response. It was thorough and very detailed.
In some online documentation I see the use of *.SC files (for example, "include
"), not *.IDL files in the creation of *.CSC files. What's the difference here?
Is the use of *.SC files old style? I don't find too many of them on my system. For
example, I have only the "somcls.sc", "somcm.sc" and "somobj.sc" files.
