Hello everyone,
Some clarification please. Can anyone tell me what compiler(s) come with the OS/2
Warp Toolkit (IBM Developer's Toolkit)? Various online documentation talks about
using the "VisualAge C++ 3.0 compiler" to write C/C++ code for SOM and WPS
programming. Other documentation talks about using the "SOM compiler". Finally, the
toolkit documentation, itself, talks about installing VisualAge C++ 3.0, first, before
installing the toolkit (avoid a downlevel SOM Runtime installed by the VisualAge C++
3.0 compiler).
Now, I belief that the toolkit has an "SOM compiler", because it has the executable,
SC.exe.
Can someone help me understand this? Thanks in advance.
