SCOUG OS/2 For You - February 1998
Network SIG
NEW time, NEW date, NEW location
The Network SIG is moving. Starting this month, SCOUG's Network SIG has been invited to meet with the Orange Coast IBM PC User Group's OS/2 SIG. It all happens on the third Tuesday of each month at the OCIPUG Resource Center located at 1520 Brookhollow Drive, Suite #38, Santa Ana in the Brookhollow Office Park between Dyer Road, Warner Ave, Grand Ave and the 55 Freeway. The meeting will start at 7pm. Contact Steve Schiffman at 714-531-0376 if you need directions to the meeting location.
This months meeting is on Feb 17th, the Tuesday before the SCOUG general meeting. The SIG activity will be to refine the Java raffle program network environment. This will include setting up the raffle program as a public application, defining the resources required to execute the program and the permisions required to access these resources. If time permits, an attempt will be made to run the raffle program from a WorkSpace-On Demand client.
