SCOUG OS/2 For You - March 1999
SCOUG Submits Bid To Hold Warpstock '99
The SCOUG Warpstock '99 Bid Committee chaired by Steve Schiffman has submitted a bid proposal to the board of Warpstock, Inc. to hold the 1999 Warpstock conference in our local area. Bid proposal committee members Terry Warren, Paul Wirtz and Bert Langer with support from Peter Skye developed a bid to hold Warpstock at Chapman University.
We will be notified by Warpstock, Inc. in early March if we are the successful bidder of the six groups that indicated their intentions to submit bids. If successful, the plans for the event will be presented at the March SCOUG meeting.
