SCOUG OS/2 For You - December 1999
Seeking a Donut King
Would you want a Saturday meeting without donuts?
One of the greatest social stimulants throughout the history of mankind has been food. The traditional ceremonial food activities for SCOUG have been the after-meeting lunches and donuts.
As we approach the millennium, it seems appropriate to give thought to this tradition, and consider our donut objectives for the next thousand years. Do sprinkles win? Are jelly filled the best? Lots of frosting or plain? The issues with donuts are practically endless.
Of immediate concern for SCOUG is our lack of a donut king - the person with the weighty responsibility of making all the decisions about our morning snack options. Are you up to the job?
If you have ideas for menus or presentation for our monthly snack fest, or have favorite vendors you would like to promote (you'll be reimbursed of course), please contact
Dave@SCOUG.com. He has a crown waiting for you.
