SCOUG's June Meeting - Surprise, Surprise, Surprise
The special guest at our June meeting is SciTech and Open Watcom developer Michal Necasek, coming down from Northern California to present the latest on SciTech Display Doctor video drivers, the Open Watcom OS/2 compiler and programming environment, and his "The OS/2 Years" private collection of historic versions of OS/2 running on very special hardware including an original PS/2 laptop.

The May Meeting
At our May meeting, SCOUG Vice President Sheridan George showed us how to generate tables for our web pages using REXX.
We learned how to use REXX scripts to generate html tables at the May 2002 meeting. Here are all of Sheridan's presentation materials so you can try it yourself.

OS/2 is humming along and Tony is so happy about his recent experiences. He contrasts that with other operating system realities.

PKZip has a limit on the number of files it will compress together. When you want a large number of files zipped up together, RAR, an alternate compression utility, seems to do the trick.
