WiseManager Is Aptly Named
WiseManager Creates, Destroys, and Administers OS/2 in a Minute!
Our March 1999 Meeting Showed Off This Excellent System Management Method
SCOUG members were seen falling out of their chairs in amazement as Kim Cheung and Glenn Hudson from
Serenity Systems demonstrated WiseManager. Kim and Glenn were able to install an OS/2 desktop remotely on a client machine in 30 seconds, add and subtract applications on the client on the fly, destroy the client machine, and then have it up and running in another 30 seconds. Should Serenity prove better marketers than IBM, these folks have the world at their feet.
Serenity showed us the substantial capabilities of the application, which uses IBM's RIPL technology to work magic. For those with huge year 2000 headaches, and an equally huge installed base, or even those just wishing to save lots on system administration and receive free (yes free!) hardware, WiseManager is a true miracle.
