A Free Day of OS/2 Activities and Fun

Warp Expo West 2001 Is Being Rescheduled to August

More Info Soon...

OS/2, when released, featured Multitasking/Multithreading, interprocess communication, and user interface capabilities, with relatively modest administration and resource requirements, ahead of the alternatives of the time. These along with it's stability and flexibility provide a playground for the programmer and power user. Time has only vindicated the excellence of its design, leaving its competition looking for alternatives to the right way to do things.

The SCOUG Board of Directors has tentatively approved a one-day Warp Expo West 2001 event to be held in August on the campus of Chapman University in the city of Orange. We anticipate having a number of presentations during the day. The current committee consists of Chairman Terry Warren, and members Dallas E. Legan and John Hlavac.

To start, we've identified a number of topics and several presenters. We hope to present new views of how OS/2 can help the user.
