Subject: SCOUG-General: Plans for SCOUG Meeting Sept. 15

Content Type: text/plain

Folks,

In light of this week's tragic events, the SCOUG Board has been discussing
the plan of this month's meeting scheduled for Saturday.

While we have not heard from all the board members nor reached any final
decision, there is a general concensus that it's not appropriate for Saturday
to be the celebration that we had planned. Thus, we are currently planning
to defer the 8th Anniversay Celebration (and the super celebration raffle)
until the October meeting.

Beyond that, we have not yet decided if we should hold the rest of the Saturday
meeting or simple defer the entire thing until October. There are leanings each
way among the board members at the moment so your input and comments would be
appreciated.

Once the board reaches a decision, please watch this list, your email, and/or the
SCOUG website for an annoucement.

Thanks,
Randell Flint
