A default judgement. I'm guessing they're
long gone, probably have already set up
business in other jurisdictions, you probably
got several mails from them today, and the
People of the State of California (plaintiff) will
never see a dime. Laws like this are feel-
good responses by politicians who either
don't know how the internet works or don't
mind lying to their subjects, for subjects who
don't understand how the internet works or
are naively hopeful that spending money on
lawyers will help them avoid unpleasantness.
I don't count spam, but my perception is my
incoming hasn't decreased.
