That wasn't my worst mistake. I had installed unimaint, but everything
was going along so smoothly (I was ecstatic) that I hadn't make a backup
when the problem developed--unexcusable. Some of us never learn. If I
had made a backup at the right time, I assume a desktop restore would
probably have fixed it.
I could delete the system object using the Unimaint selected object
dialog, but where will that leave things? Will it be recreated? The
maintenance desktop doesn't have one.
Peter, The icon cmd file won't open it, but I'll keep the tool--could
be useful. Thanks.
